The State of Texas requires that driving safety courses include at least 5 hours of course material, with a 60-minute break. Our course has been designed to include all of the necessary information in the shortest time allowable by Texas law.

You will be required to take at least 60 minutes of break time during the program, but you can take more if you choose to. The course is self-paced, meaning you can log out and take a break whenever you want. The course is broken into 11 units with a 10-question quiz at the end of each unit. You only need to score 70% on each of the quizzes to pass.

There is no final exam for the Texas Defensive Driving course. When you complete the last unit, you’re completely done!

As soon as you pass the course, we provide you with a certificate that you can print out.

When you complete the course, we provide you with a two-part certificate of completion that you can print out. One portion is for the court, and the other is for your insurance company. You’ll need to detach and sign the court certificate, and then submit it to your court prior to your due date.

If you select a course that includes your Driving Record, we will email it to you within 48 business hours after you complete the course.
